Kevin Henry & Liz Carroll ag seinm dhá ríl ag tosnú le The Flowers of Redhill Kevin Henry & Liz Carroll playing two reels beginning with The Flowers of Redhill 87 year old flute player Kevin Henry has been living in Chicago for over 60 years. In that time he gave a start some great musicians such as Michael Flatley, Liz Carroll, Sean Gavin & Jimmy Keane amongst others. Kevin plays uillean pipes and warpipes but it's for his personal puff and blow style on the flute that he is most well known. Originally from Doocastle on the Sligo Mayo border, Kevin followed the pot of gold his mother told him about and along the way bumped into famous musicians such as Joe Cooley, Lad O'Beirne and Paddy Killoran. He is known as the 'godfather' of Irish music in Chicago nowadays. One of TG4's most acclaimed music documentary programmes - 'Sé Mo Laoch is back for an 8th series. Each programme will feature the musical story of a hero of Irish Traditional Music.
