Glencoe Wild Camping on top of a mountain was my plan for today. I went up Beinn a'Chrulaiste from the Kinghouse Hotel, after an adventures ascent I searched for a wild camp spot and enjoyed a "quiet" and peaceful night on top of a Glencoe Mountain. I started just at the Kinghouse Hotel in Glencoe after asking an employee if it was alright if I could leave the car over night (it is usually only for customers!). I followed the path to the rear of the Hotel and then I actually went right and one gate to early left into the boggy gras. The proper path would have been roughly 200m later left. Anyway I made may way up to the ridge of the glencoe mountain Beinn a'Chrulaiste to enjoy great views over the area including rannoch moor and the most famous glencoe mountain buachaille etive mor. After searching for roughly 15 minutes for a dry and not to boggy wild camp spot I decided to go a bit further down as I knew there a perfect dry wild camping spot with phenomenal views onto buachaille etive mor. I set up my self made tent, enjoyed the sunset and made my dinner on my little stove before I went into my sleeping bag for a short night as I planned to do some night photography - unfortunately that didn't work out as clouds were coming in and the wind picked up quite a bit as well. In the morning I made the right decision to leave in time... before I arrived at the car the rain started. ***************************************************************************************************** My Equipment (Affiliate Links - you buy for the same price but Amazon pays me a little commission).
