WITH THE ARREST/APPREHENSION OF 05 PERSONS INCLUDING 02 CCLs, TEAM PS BHAJANPURA SOLVED, BLIND BRUTAL MURDER CASE, WITHIN THE HOURS*. while patrolling in the area Const. Naveen of PS Bhajanpura found a boy aged about 20-25 years lying in the pool of blood in Ekta Park, C-12, Yamuna Vihar with multiple stab injuries on his body. He informed the Duty Officer about the incident, immediately, police team reached at the spot and shifted the injured to GTB Hospital, where doctor declared him as brought dead. FSL & Crime teams were also called on the scene of crime for inspection and collection of exhibits. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 613/22 dated 09.10.2022 u/s 302 IPC PS Bhajanpura, Delhi was registered and investigation taken up. The deceased was later identified as Amaan S/o Mohd Shakil R/o Near Shamshan Ghat, Kabir Nagar, Delhi Age 20 years. Assessing, the gravity of offence, a dedicated team comprising Inspr. Rajnikant, SI Himanshu Yadav, SI Pankaj, SI Aashutosh, SI Sagar, ASI Banveer, HC Arun, Const. Mukesh, Const. Naveen and Const. Dinesh under the supervision of SHO/Bhajanpura started working on it to nab the culprits. During course of investigation, police team scanned and analysis the CCTV footages of vicinity. Technical surveillance as well human intelligence was also mounted. On thorough analysis of CCTV footage, a suspected group of boys was seen entering into the park. Their photographs were circulated for the identification. Later in the evening, on the basis of secret information, a raid was conducted and a person namely Mohit Sharma S/o Rajesh Sharma R/o North Ghonda, Delhi, Age-22 years was apprehended from area North Ghonda, Delhi. On sustained interrogation, he confessed for his crime and disclosed that he was a friend of deceased and they along with 04 other associates used to commit petty crimes. Since last few weeks they were having some issues with the deceased over share in the stolen booty. On the fateful night they met to resolve the differences but Amaan didn’t pay any head that led to confrontation. Consequently, they all caught hold and attacked Amaan with knives and fled the spot. On his instance, raids were conducted at different places and his other associates namely Zunaid S/o Harun R/o North Ghonda, Delhi, Age-21 years and Sameer Khan S/o Mohd.
