On Thursday, February 24, 2022, just after 1pm, a pursuit was headed from Rogersville, AL towards Athens, AL with speeds over 90 mph. The pursuit ended on BFI Lane, just off Hwy 72. Multiple law enforcement agencies responded and the two male subjects who also attempted to flee on foot were apprehended quickly. The vehicle plates and VIN matched and it had not been reported stolen at the time.
