LPA Celebrates 50 Years of Design Excellence

Here is a recap of the video: 0:06 1960 - Some milestones for LPA that occurred in the 1960s include moving into their Orange, California office at 44 Plaza Square and receiving their first AIA design award. 0:16 1970 - In the 1970s, LPA grew to a 10-person Orange County architecture firm and worked on Executive Park in Irvine, California, the first of many projects with The Irvine Company. 0:36 1980 - The 1980s included many milestone moments, including working on John Wayne airport, expanding to include interior design services and growing to 50 employees. 0:55 1990 - LPA continued to grow in the 1990s, expanding to 100 employees, being named Firm of the Year by AIACC, introducing landscape architecture services and working on the first K-12 and CSU projects. 1:22 2000 - A pioneer in sustainable design, LPA completed its first LEED certified project in the early 2000s, along with expanding to 200 employees, opening LPA Roseville and LPA San Diego, and evolved their integrated design approach by adding engineering services. 2:15 2010 - In recent years, LPA has more than 220 employees, opened LPA San Jose and LPA San Antonio, and expanded to included healthcare facility design services.
