An evening of comedy and conversation in Los Angeles to celebrate the 20th anniversary edition of A Letter in the Scroll on 10th November 2024. Hosted by Alex Edelman, the evening featured a line-up including Rabbi Pini Dunner, Ariel Burger, Dr Miriam Heller Stern, Jonathan Prince, Peter Samuelson and Leslie Schapira. Closing the event, Rabbi Sacks’ youngest daughter, Gila Sacks, said: “We find ourselves in the city of stories, in the presence of some of the most eminent storytellers around, who know better than anyone the power of a story to shape how we think, what we believe, of what we dream. And this evening we are celebrating a book which is, above all, simply a story – the story of what it is to be a Jew.”
