In this video I show you how to inspect and clean your vanos check valves on your N5X series BMW engine. This even applies to some N6X cars. So if you have an E90 with N54 or N52 or an E60 etc consider following what I've shown here to ensure your check valves are clean to keep your car running healthy. I'm working on my 2008 BMW 335i equipped with the N54 motor in this video. My car has 194K miles and the valves were clean. This is due to the car having regular oil changes. So if you have an E82 1 series or an E92 or pretty much any BMW from the last 10+ years or so you should find this video helpful.
