This Sunday, June 16 in Worship Julian of Norwich and The Revelation of Divine Love Julian of Norwich, a mystic who lived during the Middle Ages, offered profound insights into the nature of God's love. Through her visions, she revealed a message of hope, assurance, and the deep, unconditional love of God for all creation. This sermon will explore her optimistic theology and how her affirmations can support our faith in challenging times. Engage in a spiritual practice that encourages us to rest in the promise that, in God's love, all shall indeed be well. On this Sunday when we are focusing on Divine Love, we’ll be singing songs about God’s great love for us all. The choir will be singing an adaptation of Psalm 23 entitled The King of Love My Shepherd Is arranged by Robert Leaf, an Erin Alford, our Alto Section Leader/Soloist will be singing Arnold B. Sherman’s Let Us Love One Another. Some of the lyrics are "Beloved, let us love one another, for love comes from God, and all who know and call upon His name are children of our Lord.” Come this Sunday to be reassured through word and song that God loves you at all times.
