Hello, future dentists! Anna’s here. I am a foreign-trained dentist from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. I recently passed the INBDE exam on my first and only attempt after 6 months of preparation. In this video, I want to share some helpful tips on the studying process and the study materials that I used for the preparation. This is my very first video on YouTube and my first ever video in English. I was a bit nervous and made lots of mistakes, but I hope this will not stop you from watching it and finding something helpful. (*** “sheet paper” - sorry about that 😂🙈 I meant paper sheet for the notes) My INSTAGRAM: dentist.abroad Here are some HELPFUL LINKS: 1. More about INBDE exam: https://www.ada.org/en/jcnde/inbde INBDE Guide from the official website https://www.ada.org/en/jcnde/examinat... 2. Helpful Facebook groups: https://www.facebook.com/groups/ssali... https://www.facebook.com/groups/22539... 3. Study Materials: A) The Study Boards (TSB) course was my main study source. They have a free version on the website, so that you can try it out before becoming their premium member. I read tons of good reviews on Facebook groups praising TSB and how they helped people pass the INBDE. That is why I bought the course and did not regret it. Sometimes it was tough to follow the deadlines, and keep up with the volume of information I had to learn in a day. But after a couple of months, I got used to it. YOU SHOULD TAKE THE PREPARATION SERIOUSLY; the TSB has strict rules applied to their course. You either follow them, or you may lose your purchased membership. It’s another reason to keep yourself motivated and consistent with studying. A few words about the course: the TSB contains important information from multiple dental books organised in topics; after each completed topic, you have to pass a knowledge test that matches the real exam experience. At the end of the course TSB gives you a series of “close-to-life” final tests that test your knowledge, time management skills and the ability to sit through a 5+ hours test. THIS IS the MAIN SECRET THAT HELPs STUDENTS PASS THE TEST - practice as many questions as possible! Here is the link to the course: http://www.thestudyboards.com Don’t forget to use the DISCOUNT CODE: Anna5 for premium membership B) Mental Dental YouTube channel: watch every video there. All the information posted is very important to know. There is almost 50% of all the info for the exam. / mentaldental C) Google, google, google. D) Dental Decks - there is a new edition of dental decks developed specifically for INBDE, but in my opinion the old version of Dental Decks contains everything you need. ***Note: Affiliated links included below - feel free to go to Amazon directly in your browser if you do not want to use my links :) Dental Deck part 1. - https://amzn.to/3yLhzZy Dental Deck part 2. - https://amzn.to/3hTvsOt OTHER BOOKS that you may want to check: •Dental decks part 2 •Mosby part 2 •Dental mastery app •Tufts Pharmacology
