The need for it came on unexpectedly, and I listened and responded to the call within myself the moment I heard it. I hope you know that you can choose to do the same in your life as well. Listening to that inner calling for more peace, downtime, and rest is a great way to keep harmony and balance in your own life. Many of you reached out to check in with me during this time, and I appreciate your care and concern! This said, I want everyone to know that I was more than fine throughout these last few weeks – in fact, I was wonderful then and I am wonderful now! Our culture has instilled this idea in many of us that if we say no, or if we take a rest, that something must be wrong. But in fact, everything was oh-so-right as I listened to that inner calling to take some time for myself. I hope that you can feel me nudging you to give yourself permission to do the same when it feels right. Being a YouTube content creator on a regular basis takes more energy than you may know, especially when the content is therapeutic in nature, as mine is. The scripting, planning, set up, make up and hair, filming, editing, exporting, and uploading process is a multi-day process that takes approximately 8-10 hours per video from start to finish. And none of this takes into account the immeasurable caring and healing energy I emit out to you, dear community. I receive far less back than I give – that comes with the territory in many ways.
