BluePrint Automation, a leading innovator in the secondary packaging automation industry, re-introduced the Spider 200i all-in-one case packer for RSC and L-Lock reusable cases. Designed with the processor and/or copacker in mind, the SPIDER 200i solution uses a multi-axis robot to pick bags on the fly and place them into a cassette, forming vertical (stand up) pack patterns when pushed into a tipped case. The solution allows various product sizes and case types to be run on the same packaging line including RSC, L-Lock and 1x display cases, too! With a four-point changeover in under five minutes, The Spider 200i now provides even more versatili-ty by packing left-hand and right-hand cases on the same machine. With an open design for operator and maintenance access, the Spider 200i is more robust with less complex and moving parts than other systems currently found on the market. The latest version also includes a higher capacity automatic horizontal case blank magazine with three easy to load zones (approx.150 cases total) that can be integrated with our automated blank distribution and loading system to get corrugate off the floor and reduce potential safety hazards. Issues with case squaring? The Spider 200i is designed with active case squaring in sealer via inde-pendently VFD driven conveyors to improve consistency in case squaring every time!
