In 2005, Lauren's father, Tony Nicklinson, suffered a stroke and became paralysed from the neck down. Tony was a member of Humanists UK, and we worked with him on several of his legal cases up until his death. We continue to work alongside his family, including Lauren, as they campaign for compassionate assisted dying laws.
