Travel to Bolivia! Bolivia has so much to offer! Diverse surrounding including the high lands, Amazon, low lands, jungle to city life! With affordable transfers all around the country, Bolivia is ready for tourists! Samaipata is 3 hours Southwest of Santa Cruz. We used a private taxi for 300 Boliviano to transfer though there are mass transit options. Once in Samaipata, there are a variety of hotels and hostels. We stayed just 5 blocks from the main square which gave us a more jungle feel for our stay. Staying at YVY Hotel had a very comfortable, clean and affordable rooms with private bathroom with hot water. The prices vary based on the number of guests going. We also found that taxi drivers will take you to many locations and arrange a pick up time as well.
