The Auburn City Council met Feb. 5 for its regular business session at Memorial City Hall, where members issued a Black History Month proclamation and opened a public hearing on the city’s 2026-2027 Community Development Block Grant Annual Action Plan. Council also considered a land sale resolution authorizing the sale of a paper street for development, approved a tax assessment settlement with Walmart over property on Grant Avenue, and made appointments to the Auburn Industrial Development Authority.
