Aspen Hopkins, a PhD student in the MIT Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, gives a talk entitled “Designing and Evaluating Regulatory Mechanisms to Empower and Constrain AI Supply Chains,” a collaborative project with Susan Silbey, Leon and Anne Goldberg Professor of Humanities, Sociology and Anthropology and Professor of Behavioral and Policy Sciences. Hopkin’s talk was featured in a session on "AI Governance & Digital Ethics" during the MIT Ethics of Computing Research Symposium. Hosted by the MIT Schwarzman College of Computing’s Social and Ethical Responsibilities of Computing (SERC) initiative, the symposium showcased a series of TED-style talks by MIT faculty. These presentations focused on the intersection of technology, ethics, and social responsibility in the field of computing.
