Florida State vs. Clemson: The No. 6 Florida State Seminoles got things going the right way to start a weekend series at the No. 4 Clemson Tigers with a resounding 7-0 victory in Game 1 of a doubleheader on Thursday. Makenna Reid made her first start for the Seminoles and dominated, striking out the side to start the game, and not allowing a hit in the first 3 innings. Ali Dubois and Kathryn Sandercock relieved Makenna and only gave up 2 hits between them. Micheala Edenfield provided most of the offense, driving in 2 runs in the 5th inning and blasting a 3-run home run in the 6th. The win snapped Clemson's 29-game home winning streak and 23-game overall winning streak.
