Imaha is a short film loosely based on Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu’s (1814-1873) story with the original title The child that went with the fairies. It takes place eastward of the old city of Limerick, about ten Irish miles under the range of mountains known as the Slieveelim Hills. Adapted by multidisciplinary artist Evan Kennedy, scripted and directed by writer/actor John Hogan, filmed and edited by filmmaker Dominik Kosicki with original music composition by Andy Connolly and devised by Limerick Youth Theatre members. Limerick Youth Theatre has received the ETB Excellence in Youth Services Award 2025 with Imaha.
