Imagine riding Tour de France three times in 120 days, but all the stages are mountain stages: 78 RIDE DAYS - 200 COLS - 10,072 KM DISTANCE and 271.250 HM VERTICAL METERS, this is DEUX MILLE CHALLANGE https://www.deuxmille.cc/challenge/ . When the organizers asked us to support Maximillian Schnell, who is ready to take on the challenge unsupported, with a personalized TITICI, we immediately decided to accept, as it is in our DNA to help athletes overcome their limits with a bike customized to their needs. Talking to Maximilian, who wasn't looking for a carbon frame, we chose to adapt the STERRATO gravel model, made with Columbus steel tubes, to the challenge, mounting a Shimano GRX gravel groupset, aluminum Fulcrum Rapid Red wheels, Deda Elementi accessories and Pirelli Cinturato Velo road tyres, in order to allow him to pedal with a robust and at the same time performing bike on long alpine climbs. We also decided to paint the frame matching the clothing kit that Maximilian will use during the challenge, adding the Deux Mille logo on the PAT.P top tube, a final touch that we hope will bode well for the completion of the challenge !
