Wee Meng Chee, who is more popularly known as Namewee, will remain in custody for six days, as police investigate the death of Iris Hsieh Yu-hsin. The influencer was believed to have travelled from Taiwan to Malaysia to work on a video collaboration with Wee. Her body was discovered in the bathtub of a hotel in Kuala Lumpur on October 22. Authorities initially classified the case as a sudden death, but later changed it to murder. Wee was earlier arrested and charged with drug use and possession.
