Victor reflected on the band’s origins: “We didn’t set out to ‘be a Chicano band’ when we started back in 2016. We just wanted to make the music we grew up with, the music that made us feel alive. When I put on those shades and the hair goes up, I become Bad Vic—and that’s a space where I can process everything.
