Driving in Germany: Autobahn A2 E34 & B224 from Bottrop to Essen

In this video you can ride along on Autobahn A2 E34 & Bundesstraße B224 from Bottrop (A31) to Essen in the German Ruhrgebiet. The industrial Ruhr area is famous for its many Autobahns crossing through, the A2 being a major one connecting the West of Germany with the heart and East (Berlin) of the country. The B224 is an urban expressway connecting the North and South of the Ruhr area, mainly serving intercity and urban traffic between the cities of Gladbeck, Essen and Velbert. The speed limit is mostly capped at 70 km/h outside of the cities.
