The game ended 3-1 and Wolfsburg progressed to the Quarters before getting knocked out by Napoli. The 23 year old finished the season with 18 goals and 29 assists for both club and country. He also won Bundesliga player of the year and carried his side to winning both the DFB-Pokal and DFL-Supercup!
