I recently purchased a second hand arca d4 geared head with the lever plate I found the lever to be over complicated, difficult to use and painful as the latch is sharp I had a spare rrs lever plate and luckily the alignment pins were spaced the same but the holes were too large I had a spare miniature bolt that fit and I just glued in place Later I will add a second and securely glue them in place Thanks to Rich Baum for the confirmation that this would work his channel and video is here    • Arca Swiss D4 Geared Head with RRS Clamp C...   No I’m not paid by rrs, or arca but maybe I should 😜 Just a video of my own experience and preferences feel free to add constructive comments as I’d love to get a purpose made locator pin set made or buy?
