Long Branch Enfield No4 MkI*

This particular Enfield No4 MkI* was made in Canada by Long Branch in 1943 for Candian troops during WWII. This video goes over the rifle and shows it in action at 100, 160, & 220 yards taking slow deliberate shoots. It is using MkVII 303 British ammunition made in the UK in 1941. The ammunition is from two crates of 1000 rounds each I purchased several years ago that were never issued. There were a few hang fires but no failure to fire rounds. The ammunition smokes more than modern powders and the 1941 military rounds use potassium salts in the primers making the rounds corrosive. Cleaning is a little more involved but worth it.
