We will take the Horizon Europe DMP as the foundation; however, we will not follow it word by word. Instead, we will have a closer look at the general topics that this DMP covers and compare them with other common DMP templates (e.g., ERC, CESSDA) to arrive at general principles of good DMP preparation. The rationale for certain specific details of the DMP will be explained, and online tools for data management will be presented. Where applicable, the lecture will also provide some tips and tricks on how to prepare the data for open sharing beyond the DMP.
