I started out RC hobby with the 12428, it was a great little RC. Due to its size it had limitations. When I saw the 10428, I thought it was the same RC just larger; I was wrong! Out of the box, something wasn't right and within the first couple packs parts were breaking and it started to make weird noises. When I went to my local hobby shop. I learned the electronics were not available forcing me to buy parts from Banggood & AliExpress. In the US 🇺🇸, it takes a awhile to get parts for thos RC, it took so long that by the time the package came, I didn't have a clue what it was. Being it can take so long, I learned to buy spare parts and then different parts failed. So in less than 2 weeks I had an RC that was sitting on a shelf. It had what I thought was an awesome controller and didn't want to give it up. Eventually I decided if I want to run this RC, I need to do something and thats when I decided to change out the electronics. In this video I replace the ESC & Reciever with a Hobbywing 1080 & DumboRC, the steering servo with a Savox SC-0252 and shift servo with a Spektrum A500, total cost $115-$120, which was about 3/4 of what I paid for it. Unlike in many cases, spending as much or more on upgraded parts would be a waste and buying new is ideal. Though if I did that I would possibly have the same problems as before. Now I have been components and after working on the RC, a better understanding of it. Thanks everyone for watching.
