ANTIVIRUS / VIRUS WARNING/ MISSING DLL / WINDOWS DEFENDER ISSUES 1) disable defender smart screen so that your browser does not delete the zip file before it can be downloaded. 2) create a folder at c:\uevr. Use this location as other locations may be monitored by one drive and the server may delete these files even if your virus has excluded the folder. (Many user's desktop and documents are in onedrive and they dont know it) 3) in your virus app (defender or other) give a folder exclusion to c:\uevr. 4) Download UEVR.zip, but do not double click it to extract it. Save the file in c:\uevr directly. Do not try to save it elsewhere or it may be deleted. 5) Right click and select "extract here" for UEVR. Or use winzip, winrar, 7zip etc. Do not double click with explorer as this creates a temporary folder and defender will delete files before you can copy them. 6) Once extracted you should see the files in c:\uevr and are ready to run them. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/w... This works with PC Game Pass too. For GamePass users that want to use the built profiles: Start your gamepass game normally first without a profile in UEVR, let it load and make it's own profile. After that, in UEVR press Open Global Dir, and copy the built profile into your profile folder. This is because GamePass games create WinGDK-shipping folders, instead of Win64-shipping like Steam does.
