In this powerful reminder, Shaykh Bazi reflects on the conclusion of Surah Ibrahim and the opening message of Surah Al-Hijr. He explains how the Masjid is the central place in the life of a believer, while marketplaces are the most disliked places because they often distract people from the remembrance of Allah. Allah warns that the punishment of the disbelievers may be delayed, but it will certainly come on a Day when nothing will benefit them. Allah will never break the promise He made to His Messenger ﷺ. No matter how severely the disbelievers oppose the truth, Allah and His Messenger will always prevail. Moving to Surah Al-Hijr, Allah declares a powerful promise: “Indeed, We have sent down the Reminder, and surely We will guard it.” Allah Himself has taken the responsibility of preserving the Qur’an and protecting this Deen until the Day of Judgment. Shaykh Bazi also beautifully explains the mercy of Allah — that even a person who has the smallest amount of Iman will eventually be saved on the Day of Judgment. After purification, that believer will enter Jannah and receive the lowest level of Paradise, which is still ten times greater than this entire world. If that is the reward of the one with the smallest Iman, then imagine the reward for those who serve Allah, frequent the Masjid, and live their lives in obedience to Him. A powerful reminder about faith, the preservation of Islam, and the promise of Allah.
