Testable meaning it can be proven wrong through experimentation. Evolution is both a Fact and Theory, it is a Fact that Evolution exist. Evolution is also a Theory, in that many details of the mechanisms of Evolution is progressing. Just like Gravity is a Fact and exist, yet there is no unifying Theory of Gravity, which is also constantly progressing. That is science many many Hypothesis that are proven wrong which do not contribute to the Theory, and many that Advance and further Validate the Theory. Science is Testable. Time context of Evolution - Keep in mind that Humans have a hard time putting into context time in spans more than their lifetime or more even a mere million years. An analogy to Evolution is that of a baby, growing to a toddler, to an pre-teen to a teenager to an adult. As the transition is happening few would argue that the baby, toddler and adult is the same person. But taking snap shots in discrete time, it is almost unfathomable to the human brain that a baby can possibly transform into an adult. Human senses and perception is limited.
