Palace of the Dead – Necromancer Progression | Omni Deep Dungeon Challenge This series follows my long-term goal of becoming Omni in all four Deep Dungeons on every combat class in Final Fantasy XIV. Each run is a full solo Palace of the Dead climb from Floor 1–200, pushing toward the Necromancer title while learning the mechanics, enemies, traps, and routing needed to survive the higher floors. These runs are a mix of progression clears and score-style floor clears. Instead of rushing directly to the exit, I often clear entire floors, open every chest, and push larger pulls to better understand the enemies and layouts of the dungeon. The goal is not only to reach Floor 200, but to fully learn each floor set and improve consistency across multiple classes. Many of the pulls can be aggressive, sometimes even reckless, but they help develop awareness of: • Enemy abilities and patrol patterns • Trap placement and room layouts • Pomander usage and timing • Managing debuffs, gazes, AoE, and enhancements during mass pulls • Time management across floor sets This project is also meant for players who want to see how their favorite jobs perform inside Deep Dungeons, especially beyond Floor 100 where most guides stop.
