Phone interview with S/Lt Hugh BIRLEY of N RNBC , 2006 . This was my first call to Hugh , who lived up in MORAYSHIRE. The phone line was so terrible that - even after much audio processing - I have had to subtitle Hugh's part ( when i can understand it myself ). Hugh was probably the most sophisticated of the people I found, and had a pretty large view of what was going on. There are a few more calls I made , which I will upload as soon as I have found the time . ( Subtitling etc etc takes bucketloads of time I'm afraid .)
