Man Kept Water Bottle Stuck in Anus for 3 Days | ISH News

You might have heard weird news stories, but not as weird as this one. In a surprising incident, doctors in Iran were shocked when they found a 19-centimeter water bottle stuck (250 ml bottle) in a man's anus. The 50-year-old man's wife took him to the Imam Khomeini Hospital in Iran after she became worried about his lack of appetite, constipation and cramps. When the man was taken to the hospital, he did not tell the doctors that he had a bottle stuck inside him. The doctors did multiple tests. Finally when they did the CT scan they noticed the bottle. The doctors said that the man did not want to reveal he had inserted the object inside himself due to "embarrassment and fear of his wife". The man was so scared of his wife's reaction that he delayed seeking medical help for three days. He had pushed the bottom of the bottle in first, thinking that he would be able to pull it out by gripping the top. However, he was unable to extract the bottle, leaving it stuck inside his large intestine. The doctors did not mention why he had put the bottle inside him. Although, they noted sexual desire was usually behind such insertions. The doctors, however, "carefully and slowly" dragged the bottle out of his anus. There was no rupture or bleeding. He suffered no internal injuries or damage to his intestine. The man was discharged after three days and referred to a psychiatric clinic. The man did not suffer any further problems and did not have any trouble with his appetite a month after the bottle was removed from his anus.
