I have been traveling to Sicily for over a month. To travel to Syracuse, we settled in the small island town of Ortigia. This place, with its amazing sea color and scenery, is the hometown of Archimedes and was a colony of ancient Greece under Roman occupation, so the historic sites and relics that fill your toes are amazing. Many Europeans come here as a honeymoon destination and a place to stay for a month, but I am a little worried because the prices are so high. However, as Sicily is rich in seafood, fruits, and vegetables, and is nicknamed the kitchen of the gods, it is difficult to control myself because of the abundance of food. I'm planning to live here for two weeks first and then think about my next travel destination.
