Following the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, more than 200,000 Russian citizens have come to Armenia, with approximately 60,000 of them having Armenian origins, as revealed in an interview with Ministry of Economy Vahan Kerobyan by The Armenian Report. Kerobyan emphasized the significance of this influx, stating, "We are witnessing the return of many Armenians. Over the past 25 years, millions of Armenians left Armenia for various countries, leading to a massive brain drain." During the interview, the minister was asked about the Armenian-American public figure Dan Bilzerian, who visited Armenia last year. In an interview with The Armenian Report, Bilzerian expressed his view that Armenia should engage in business with Russia. The minister was questioned about the nature of their meeting and whether Bilzerian offered any advice. "We have our own methods and strategies for dealing with partners from different countries," the minister replied, alluding to their discussions. Kerobyan also addressed the perception that many Russian companies relocated to Armenia after the war. He clarified that while there have been international companies that shifted their operations from Russia to Armenia, it is not predominantly Russian companies that have made the move.
