Vehicle Pursuit Involves LAPD Officers, Suspect in Separate South Los Angeles Collisions

SOUTH LOS ANGELES, May 31 (KNN) — A Los Angeles Police Department pursuit of a vehicle in the University Park neighborhood of South Los Angeles late Thursday night involved police officers and suspect in separate traffic collisions. At approximately 11:30 p.m., the LAPD's Southwest patrol officers became aware of a stolen vehicle. The officers followed the vehicle and attempted a traffic stop, however, the suspect failed to comply and a pursuit ensued, according to Sgt. Kevin Ahlemeir with LAPD's South Traffic Division at the scene.
