Maxiavalanche Alpe D'Huez 2020 - POV Full Run - Amateur Group

My First ever race at Maxiavalanche 2020 in the Alpe D'Huez! Never raced before and did not have the chance to prepare myself properly for this event. Travelled all the way from London to the Alpes for this race that was on my bucket list for ages! I have arrived to the to the Alpes only a day before the race date and prepared myself the best i could! I am an amateur but always had a massive love for mountain bike, and what an event for the first time! My goal on this event was to reach the finish line and not having any mechanical issues....mission accomplished! If i would give my personal advise to anyone who has this event on their bucket list, just go for it! It is definitely challenging for a first time, but don't be afraid. I was definitely scared and nervous but the rush of adrenaline i felt throwout the event and mainly on the starting line of the mass start is Indescribable and will push your boundaries! The final result I managed to reach the 19th position out of 35 people in the Amateur Group. I am super stocked with the result and couldn't be happier for a first time!
