In India , In every state ,every region ,khichdi is served as main meal. Very healthy and esay to digest with ots of health benefits. Ingredients Yellow lentils and rice- 1 bowl each 1onion and 1 tomato chopped 2 green chilli long slit cut 1 green chilli fine chopped ¼ inch ginger,7 garlic cloves,1/2 tsp ,musturd,cumin,1 pinch asafetida and few curry leaves 1 tsp turmeric,salt ,2 sp ghee Corinder Oil Method- Wash and soak rice and dal. In pressure cooker heat oil, give tempering of chopped green chilli. Add onion, cook till it becomes translucent. Add tomato and cook for few minutes till it becomes soft. Add turmeric.mix. add soaked rice and dal . add water and salt. Pressure cook for 10 mins. after 10 mins. add chopped coriender. In anoother pan, heat ghee, give tempering of curry leaves,green chillis,cumin,mustard,asafetida,ginger and garlic.
