PUERTO VALLARTA Isla Del Río Cuale 2025 8K Walking Tour | Jalisco 🇲🇽 Lo que hoy es la Isla del Río Cuale existe desde 1926 (originalmente conocida como Isla de Santa Clara e Isla de Los Niños), cuando el río creció y se bifurcó en dos brazos separados dejando una isla temporal entre ellos. En la década de 1970, se utilizó como parque público y área de recreación. La “Isla del Río Cuale”, es actualmente un oasis tranquilo y relajado rico entre las sombras de grandes árboles en el centro de Puerto Vallarta. El nombre de la isla deriva del río que nace a unos 40 km arriba en las montañas de la Sierra. El pueblo de Cuale fue de origen minero, donde se han encontrado además, diferentes objetos prehispánicos, los cuales se exhiben en el Museo del Cuale.
