Taranaki Tū Mai held every two years where all eight iwi of Taranaki come together to participate in competitive and non - competitive sports & recreational activities. Kaumātua and Tamariki friendly event was one of the first jobs as a social media crew for Waha. We were honoured to be commissioned by Ngā Iwi o Taranaki and Te Kāhui Maunga committee to capture this taonga for our people, our rohe, our mokopuna — Poi Manu. Waha was commissioned to document and share this special moment on behalf of our iwi, our leaders, and our communities. It was a privilege to stand alongside Ngā Iwi o Taranaki, Te Kāhui Maunga committee, and the many hands and hearts that brought this kaupapa to life.
