VELYS Hip Navigation is a technology-based software program from DePuy Johnson and Johnson that allows a surgeon to decrease the steps in their surgical workflow. It is designed to use anatomic reference points to give surgeons accurate information on Leg Length and Offset when performing a Direct Anterior Hip Replacement. The OneTrial Analysis software allows the surgeon to use the trial implants to obtain valuable data about leg length and offset in a simple table of information. Based on this information, the surgeon can then implant the real hip components and reduce the steps needed to reproduce the patient's anatomy. This digital technology replaces older techniques of using printed overlays or reference bars placed outside of the surgical field.
