THIS IS MY STORY! BRAIN Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) Survivor from the Philippines: Loida Bauto

Hi. It's me, Loida again. You have probably heard or watched my story. You may be one of the people who bought my e-book. Or you may be one of the people who have shared one of my post before. Maybe, you have known already my story because someone told you or you have read in the newspaper. My story got featured in ABS-CBN's Umagang Kay Ganda and on GMA's Magpakailanman on December 2017 with actress Katrina Halili as myself; My post about my story got viral reaching over 28k shares on facebook on February 2018; got featured in the good news section of the Philippine Star Newspaper also on February 2018; and had radio interviews in Radyo La Verdad and FEBC 702- DZAS AM stations. For those who do not know, I am Loida Bauto, 29 now, an alumna of the University of Santo Tomas and a licensed interior designer in the Philippines. I got diagnosed with Brain Arteriovenous Malformation five months after in my first job. The effects of AVM rupture left me disabled up to this date. It caused me to suffer two (2) major strokes at the age of 21 that damaged my body's control and coordination movements (can't write and draw the way I used to anymore), damaged my body's balance (can't walk independently anymore), made me suffer speech difficulty, and left me with vision problems. I've been in and out of hospitals for the past six years after being diagnosed with AVM on August 7, 2013. I have undergone craniotomy or an open-skull surgery on September 4, 2013. Then had a complication, "Tracheal Stenosis," in November 2013. I had another major surgery in my trachea on December 14, 2013. I have also undergone Gamma Knife Radiosurgery on February 2015. I already had 3 Cerebral Angiogram to check my brain. The most recent was last March 2018. And after all that I have gone through, I am still NOT yet AVM-free up to this date. I needed to undergo angiogram again.
