We have been trying to help this tenant who just wants to be a problem. Watch the end, this tenant has been such a problem even the officer knows and has something to say. This is the third time our staff has been to this apartment to address the issues this tenant has raised. Funny enough, not with us. The tenant called the health department instead. We were there immediately, then two days later with them and then 2 days after that, again. All because the tenant refused to let the work be done. The health department was called because of a blister of paint in the shower. The transition strip was in place perfectly when the tenant rented the apartment who never informed us that there was a problem. At every step recently the tenant has refused to allow us to help by doing our job. Even onsite, she lies to me and everyone else around even though the video clearly tells another story. I introduced myself as a representative of the ownership to be able to keep a professional relationship with her. When speaking to the police, she says that I am her landlord and she put my money in escrow. If she did not know me, then why would she say that? Again, when I mention she put her hands on me, she again denies where I know the video shows another story. This tenant apparently did this same thing with her last landlord. Of all the hundreds of tenants we have ever had, this is the only one who has ever been this way. The building was old when she moved in, the building is still old. The building is affordable, the management is responsive to issues tenant make known and in the end, we care and do the best to make everyone happy.
