I'm back from Youtube NextUp, and wow, what a week! I've learned so much about production and I can't wait to translate what I've learned to my channel. This is the video that I shot last Thursday at the YouTube Space LA during the program. While at NextUp, we were separated into smaller groups of 3-4 people and paired with a production manager to help with our videos. Brett, Andru, McCall, and our production manager Anthony crewed my video, and I must say, I could get used to all of that help! Now on to the tutorial ;) I love the simple and modern design of these wooden frames. You could paint them or use a thick ribbon to change up their look. My favorite variation is the frame with the thin, light colored wood (on the photo of the foliage against the pink background). Note: I used a drill to make small holes for the magnets to drop into (making them flush with the wood) on the frames that were hung on the wall. If you make your frame the way I show in this video, you'll have a small gap between your pieces of wood (which isn't a big deal). Supplies: Thin wood molding (cut to the size of your photo): I got mine at Home Depot. There's a section in the store where you can use a saw to cut your molding to the size you want. It's easy, I promise! Thin magnets Sand Paper Gorilla Glue: I tried using hot glue and it wouldn't hold the magnets. Gorilla Glue is what's holding our Travco together so I had some on hand ;) Small eyelet hooks Twine Wooden beads Photo or poster S O C I A L Instagram: / allitav Pinterest: / allitav Twitter: / alli_cherry Write me & I'll write you back! :) PO Box 1421 Los Alamitos, CA 90720 Nick's Channel: https://goo.gl/7quUvE S H O P Rad & Random Shop: https://goo.gl/ta1g9a Shop Instagram: https://goo.gl/3dtnvX R E C E N T V I D E O S Capsule Wardrobe Playlist: http://bit.ly/1N34OtE Cherry Travco Playlist: http://bit.ly/1EuiM8X Travel Playlist: http://bit.ly/1V3NcnH M U S I C Dr. Turtle http://goo.gl/ZoADmG N E W HE R E ? Hi, I’m Alli! I’ve been making videos on this channel since June 2014, but I’ve been watching youtube videos for much longer ;). Before starting this channel as my creative outlet, I was in a major rut and thought the challenge of making a video every week would help. I'm happy to report that it did! Making Youtube videos is now my favorite hobby and I’m excited to see where it can take me in the future. On this channel, I share my journey toward a capsule wardrobe, travel videos, home decor projects, healthy recipes, natural beauty recommendations, and more! My husband (Nick) and I are also documenting the renovation of our 1974 dodge travco motorhome: lovingly referred to as the Cherry Travco! D I S C L A I M E R This is not a sponsored video.
