I made this so I could put a B+M key M.2 NVMe SSD in the WAN slot on my Lenovo Thinkpad T14 Gen1 Ryzen laptop. If compatible the slot is wired for PCIe x2. If the WAN slot is connected to PCIe lanes you can use it with NVMe SSDs. SATA M.2 SSDs won't work in the slot. I also verified this will work with the Thinkpad T480. It should work with many other Thinkpads as well as long as they aren't the “S” series or Yoga models. It takes like 1 gram of filament and like 10 minutes to print so not much to lose if you are uncertain. I made it to be pretty form fitting to the mounting nut in the Thinkpad. Important notes: For best results print with .12mm layers 100% infill and supports. The washer included with the model is .75mm thick. You might need thicker or thinner depending on the length of the screw you use to mount the SSD to the adapter. The washer goes ABOVE the SSD against the head of the screw. If you use this without a washer you risk destroying your motherboard. Before installing test fit the M.2 screw and make sure it doesn't protrude below the bottom of the print when screwed in.
