Sailing the Bay of Kotor, The Perfect Itinerary

Our friends Shannon and Ruben join us in Budva this week, and we sail for the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro. It's one of our favorite places from last year's trip, and we think we have the perfect Bay of Kotor itinerary lined up. First, we sail from Budva to Lustica Bay. Then, its onto Herceg Novi, stopping for a swim at Arza Beach. Next, it's into the back of the bay to the perfectly peaceful and jaw-droppingly beautiful Morinj, where we go ashore to try the awesome Catovica Mlini restaurant. The next day, we travel to the northeast corner of the Bay of Kotor, passing Our Lady of the Rocks Church and the medieval town of Perast. In Orahovac, we eat at the delicious and cheap Uzgajalište Ostriga. Then, it’s onto the beautifully preserved old town of Kotor, where we explore the labyrinth of medieval buildings before grabbing a drink at the Nitrox Pub and a steak from Tranja BBQ. The next day, we sail to Kraken Underwater Wine Bar for their underwater cellared wine and fresh seafood. Finally, we head to the luxurious Porto Montenegro Marina in Tivat and grab a burger at Big Bite Tivat.
