Hey everyone, there's a decent chance I fish for salmon this year, and I'm starting to put together a fun classic box to take with me. This is one that I'll have in there. Lady Caroline following the Kelson Salmon Fly dressing. I made a couple small exceptions for strength and ease of material procurement. The dressing is below: Tail: GP natural red breast feather Body: 2 part brown, 1 part olive wool (I used seal's fur) Ribs: Gold Flat and Gold Oval from the tail, Silver oval from the 3rd turn up. (I used wire instead of oval) Hackle: Heron from the third turn up, reverse wrapped (I used Blue Eared Pheasant) Throat: GP Natural Red breast feather, wrapped. Wing: Bronze mallard, dark tip, light root. (I used two on either side) Head: black Hope you all like it. Thanks
