Tips & Tricks: Modifying reports in Allplan 2014

Reports in Allplan are based on a general Microsoft reporting format (*.rdlc) which on its turn is based on xml-code. It is therefore possible to modify the report using two methods: in Allplan or with the free software tool Microsoft Visual Web Developer. When reports were introduced, in Allplan 2012, most of the editing had to be done in the xml-code or with the external Visual Web Developer. However, with each Allplan version more possibilities are implemented to modify the reports directly in Allplan. This tips and tricks article describes preparation of a report for beams with stated material, thickness, height, length and number of beams.
