On April 18th, the Toronto Workmen's Circle Foundation commemorates the 82nd anniversary of the ill-fated 1943 uprising of the Warsaw Ghetto’s Jewish inmates against their brutal Nazi oppressors. The program includes poetic and prose readings and songs in English and Yiddish as well as a presentation by guest speaker, Dr. Samuel Kassow. The program is a virtual representation of the commemoration which the Toronto Workmen's Circle/Arbeiter Ring has hosted the past 70+ years, including excerpts from previous years.
