There can be two reasons why a match isn't in a goal compilation video: 1) Because the match weren't broadcasted (only relevant for S1). 2) Because the player didn't score any goals in that match. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ What's your purpose of making/uploading these videos? To me, I see two main purposes in making/uploading these videos: 1) Nostalgic value - For people who've watched RLCS for many seasons, these videos can be a gateway back to the "golden ages" from which we started following the Rocket League scene. Personally i started watching Rocket League Esports in S3, so whenever i get to that point in the editing i always get that nostalgic feeling. 2) Informational value - Videos like these give a lot of information about the games and the players development. Try to compare the first goals of the compilation with the last ones. Notice the difference? That's how far Rocket League have come. Same goes for the players. This is also a way for newer viewers to the Esports scene to catch up on some of the big players in the scene. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ How come the quality and audio levels vary throughout the video? In these videos i use Rocket League's own VOD's as my source. The quality within them vary ALOT. Some are really loud, others really quiet. I try to adjust the loud parts, so they don't go beyond 0 decibels, but still leave it to you as the viewer to choose how loud you want it to be.
