We start in the city of Baden in the canton of Aargau northwards via Koblenz and via the Rheinbrücke opened in 1859 to the German Waldshut. The Rheinbrücke was the first connection between the German Rhine railway and the Swiss rail network. Today, the bridge over the Rhine is one of the few remaining lattice girder bridges (if not the oldest) in all of Europe. Since April 2023, it has been closed due to restoration work, which are scheduled to by finished by December 2025. I hope you enjoyed the video.
